STAAR
I'm praying for and thinking about all the 4th and 5th grade teachers this week. I am super glad I teach 1st grade right now. My 1st group of students are now in 4th grade. Where has the time gone? Last year I wrote each of them a note for the 3rd grade TAKS test. Now I have 2 previous groups of students testing and I decided writing notes to all of them would take a while. I decided to give them a little treat to wish them luck. Here is what I came up with.

Love this idea! We do this for our 3-6 grades that are taking tests. All of us adopt a class and do something special for them and the teacher during the testing time. I am not too creative and have run out of ideas on what to do. I'm glad you shared this because I now know what I will be doing next year during the testing time. Great idea! Thanks!
